Projects

The project involved the replacement of an existing prestressed concrete adjacent beam bridge with a new adjacent PS box beam bridge and associated roadway improvements. The previously existing bridge was classified as structurally deficient and functionally obsolete due to aging and deterioration, and substandard alignment and profile. The new bridge has a widened bridge deck, improved safety features with new guide rails and end terminals, an improved hydrological opening and approach roadway drainage, etc. Land acquisition and utility relocation were both required and channel diversion was used during the bridge construction.
